Guide to Cutting and Merging in Photoshop.
Step 1: To carry out the photo-cutting process, start by opening the Photoshop application on your computer. Next, open the image you want to cut. Once the image has displayed, you have multiple options to select the object you want to isolate. However, for this case, the simple and quick way is to use the Magnetic Lasso Tool (L). This will help you create an automatic outline around the object quickly so you can manipulate it.
Step 2: By placing a point at any location on the image, you can start creating an outline around the object you want to cut. The tool will automatically trace the image along this outline. If the starting point is not accurate, you can correct it by pressing ‘Backspace’ and placing the point at the correct location. This is a convenient way to accurately separate the object from the background.
Step 3: After successfully capturing the object, simply press Ctrl + C to copy, then go to the new background and press Ctrl + V to paste.
Step 4: Open an image where you want to merge the object into, and then press Ctrl + V to paste that object in.
Step 5: And there you have it, you’ve successfully cut and merged images in Photoshop. It’s really easy and quick, isn’t it?
