When you want to check the specifications of your computer, you can use ‘dxdiag’, but it only provides basic information. If you want more detailed information, you should use software called CPUz. Everything related to your computer’s hardware will be clearly and detailedly displayed. How many GBs of RAM, what’s the bus speed, etc… For instance, if you want to upgrade your RAM, you can find the right one that’s compatible.

Instructions for downloading and using CPUz
Downloading the CPUz software is extremely simple, but you should definitely know this when buying a computer.
Step 1: Go to the official website to download the software at https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html.
Here, you will be presented with two options: CLASSIC VERSIONS and a custom version. Generally, you don’t need to pay much attention to it. Just choose CLASSIC VERSIONS and you’ll be fine.

You should download the ‘Setup – English’ version (it already gives you an option for either 32 or 64-Bit Version) – the system will automatically detect whether you’re using a 32bit or 64bit computer and provide you with the appropriate download link.
For most people, just choose the English version. If you use Chinese, then select the Chinese version.
Step 2: The system will generate a link for you. Simply select and download.

Step 3: Choose where to save the installation file

Step 4: Right-click on the downloaded file and select Run As Administrator

Step 5: Select next to continue

Step 6: Just keep clicking ‘next’ until the process is complete.

Select ‘Finish’ and you’re done. You have successfully installed the CPUz software, specialized in checking detailed hardware components. To learn how it operates and how to view hardware details, please continue reading the article.

Socket FP6> This is less crucial for laptops since they are typically non-replaceable, but for PCs, it’s extremely important. If you want to upgrade your CPU, you need to find one with compatible specifications.
Technology refers to the 7nm process, … and there’s much other information depending on what you’re looking for. However, it has 4 cores and 8 threads

Mainboard > Lenovo> Model

RAM Specifications:
This is perhaps the part I’m most concerned about. Currently, 8GB of RAM might not be enough for my use, and since RAM is what I’m looking to upgrade, I’ll be paying close attention to this section.
The specifications you will need to know include: DDR4 RAM, dual-channel, currently having 8GB of RAM, Bus 16000… There are two RAM slots; you can also go to the SPD section to check how many RAM slots there are, how many GBs each slot has, and it displays everything.

Conclusion: This is an extremely important software that helps you check the hardware information of your computer. Moreover, it assists you in safely and effectively upgrading your computer with minimal trial and error.
